"Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free."

It is lots of work though, not passive...

Pontius Pilate, confronted with One claiming to be the Truth, asked: "What is Truth?"

If the question is wrong, the right answer will be elusive.

As a Roman ruler and judge, Pilate could only understand the truth as something.

He had no capacity to understand the claim, that someone could be the Truth.

The One who is the Truth is usually only found by the diligent seeker, after a long, hard journey of persistent faith, in the face of many trials and tribulations.

However, once the One is found the seeker is truly set free, by initiation into a redemptive relationship with endless potential.

The relationship is pure joy.

Growing in the relationship, does take lots of active hard work though, especially in the face of recurrent faith storms of various intensities.
