Thank you for your comment and for mentioning the name of our great writer Constantin Virgil Gheorghiu and his novel *The Twenty-Fifth Hour*. That is precisely the situation: I was not familiar with his work during the communist era. From 1945 to 1990, in Soviet-occupied Bessarabia, censorship was absolute; no books from Romania could be found, let alone those published in the West. Although I am an avid reader of Romanian literature—and other works besides—I, too, had not managed to read this writer's work. But now, thanks to you, I have ordered a few of his books.

Theatrics for the masses, but all scripted, where the targets were the minds and the actions of the common people across the world.
