Soft power à la russe and dissidence controlled by the Kremlin octopus

A few general considerations regarding the optics of the harsh “Dugin constellation” on the international situation and, implicitly, that of Russia.

Obviously, the criticisms of Dugin and his intellectual satellites brought to the Western plutocratic system are perfectly valid. It was this very well-founded and multidisciplinary systemic approach, which stigmatized the collective West, showed its historical and spiritual origins, that made me get closer to Dugin and his followers/collaborators from European countries. However, for some time now I have understood that the absolute evil, represented by the civilization of money, by political and economic liberalism, has spread like a deadly plague over the entire world. Globalization has affected all countries equally without exception, even if the stage of degradation of the Western space is much more advanced.

Therefore, the “Dugin school of thought” is worthy of appreciation for stigmatizing the West, but symmetrically deserves reproach for offering false solutions. To present the Putin regime, “multipolarity”, or BRICS as alternative geopolitical projects to those promoted by the centers of power in the West means to sin very seriously against the truth. And no matter how much this elite cohort of the Kremlin excels in erudition and propaganda techniques, their lies come to the surface in an increasingly blatant way.

One of the explanations for the excessive credulity and immeasurable enthusiasm of Dugin’s ideological subordinates in the countries of the world is the categorical rejection of American and/or Eurocentric hegemonism. And the contestation/detestation of the evil strategies of world colonization promoted by the Western elites push them directly into the arms of the centers of power in Moscow. The strategy of false dichotomies works perfectly: The division of geopolitical actors into two camps, the “bad guys in the West” versus the “good guys in the East”, no matter how primitive, has proven to be very effective.

Here we could apply the reading grid proposed by Lucien Cerise in his book Neuro-pirates. It is about Karpman’s Triangle (or Drama Triangle), a model from Transactional Analysis developd by psychotherapist Stephen Karpman, which describes dysfunctional relational dynamics based on manipulation. In this formula, the role of Victim appears to be the peoples subjugated by the Western establishment in the role of Persecutor (Aggressor), and the role of Savior is attributed to Putin (plus Xi, plus BRICS).

I also resort to a scheme very successfully proposed by the same Lucien Cerise in the same book. It is a classic mode of horizontal manipulation, applied stealthily (the term, very successfully, belongs to him). Here is how this strategy works: Someone who is at the top of the triangle manipulates both angles at the base of this triangle. In our case, it is about the continuous stimulation of major conflicts between states at the top of the pyramid of world power. This power is manifested through a vast network of organizations, from Masonic lodges and other secret societies to international organizations, which implement their plans: UN, IMF, World Bank, WTO, Bank for International Settlements, WHO, UNESCO, UNICEF, etc. And in order to be able to impose their satanic agenda without provoking a vigorous protest reaction, they resort to inducing a state of permanent emergency, or the shock doctrine, also called the strategy of tension.

This manipulation technique is used to control anti-globalist dissent. And the number one task of the manipulators at the top of the triangle is to remain invisible, as the same Lucien Cerise shows. Some examples of the implementation of this strategy: the war in Ukraine, the US+Israel war against Iran, the rivalries between India and Pakistan, etc., etc. And as long as the manipulators remain anonymous, the parties to the conflict cannot understand where the real enemy is.

In the case of exercising global governance, the main platform for imposing the New World Order is the UN. It is through the policies imposed through this organization that all globalist-satanic strategies are promoted. They are implemented equally everywhere, including in Putin’s Russia, in China, and in the rest of the BRICS countries.

Moreover, the same tactic of diverting public attention from the rapid and extremely efficient implementation of the common agenda in all countries of the world is the one applied at the scale of each country, especially in the case of a democratic facade. Horizontal rivalries, political-electoral wars, a state of permanent civil war between the respective camps keep them constantly busy with settling scores and prevent them from seeing that in fact, no matter who is in power, the same policies are promoted everywhere, developed by some private supranational entities.

So, returning to our hero Aleksandr Dugin and the vast network of dissidence controlled by the Kremlin under his guise, the following should be noted: It is not the lack of erudition or remarkable work that we reproach him and his fans for, but the lack of moral integrity and courage. Of course, making mistakes is in the nature of every human being. But only an honest man, who is not guided by duplicity or hidden interests, can admit his mistake. In the specific case of Dugin, the lack of courage is perhaps the most honorable excuse. Although it is not a virtue, but a human weakness, in today’s Russia, where political assassinations have become the norm for over a quarter of a century, an intellectual has every reason to take such risks into account. Especially if we take into account the tragic case of the assassination of his daughter, Daria. If things are like this, it is his choice. It means that for him life is more precious than truth and justice.

A few years ago I had created a group on the Telegram app, Chisinau Forum, in which I included everyone who had participated in our meetings in the capital of Moldova. But at some point I became so disgusted with the attitude of French members affiliated with Moscow, that I simply liquidated the group. At one point Pierre-Antoine Plaquevent even reproached me for deviating from the initial purpose of our group. I replied that I was describing what I saw, and if the regime in Moscow had proven its evil essence, I would continue to criticize it.

I have no obligations to the Kremlin. Nor do I practice self-censorship willingly. I am not content with the Procrustean version of the dominant discourse. I reject any form of thought police, I do not tolerate half-measures and I do not believe in half-truths.

The fact that several (former) friends from various countries, remaining in the multipolar camp, have dissociated themselves from me, may have the following explanation: After several years of conceptual confusion, following long research and reflections, I managed to make a major paradigmatic leap, freeing myself from the multipolar trap. But unfortunately, many from the camp that was once mine have fallen under the burden of their own mediocrity in the swamp of multipolarity, thus preserving a comfortable psychological and social niche for themselves.

This is because it seems to many that giving up their own illusions and delusions, and especially their public confession, would tarnish their image and affect their sense of self-importance. But to encourage them not to be embarrassed by recognizing their own errors, I will resort to two classic examples from Russian culture. The great Dostoevsky was a utopian liberal. But subsequent suffering opened his mind to the highest peaks of traditional Orthodox thought and loyalty to the Russian monarchical state. Lev Tikhomirov was a radical revolutionary for a long time, participated in the plot that planned the assassination of Emperor Alexander II, but after many years of reflection and agitation he wrote the famous pamphlet “Why I am no longer a revolutionary.” And in 1905 he published the fundamental work “The Monarchical State“, the most thorough study ever written in Russian on this subject.
