"FLAT EARTH. Holy Scripture vs. The Idolatry of Heliocentrism" by Bogdan Chirilă

This book is a real challenge. It will certainly scandalize many people. This is because its author has set out to overturn, or rather, to demolish the founding myth of the modern world, namely scientific cosmogony. Entire generations have been indoctrinated for hundreds of years with the founding myths of modern science, among which the heliocentric theory and the idea that the Earth is a globe rotating around its axis and around the sun hold a special place. To say loud and clear that the Earth is flat means to attract a tsunami of ridicule and be labeled crazy.

Only someone who possesses knowledge and convictions of much greater weight than common dogma can take issue with what is considered an objective truth, an indisputable certainty. This is precisely the case with Bogdan Chirilă, who bases his entire argument not only on an excellent knowledge of Holy Scripture and the works of the Holy Fathers, but also on the conviction that when it comes to the truth that springs directly from the divine source, affirming it becomes the duty of a good Christian.

We are taught in school to worship the idols of the new secular religion, established over time, step by step, by secret societies and alchemical circles that have conspired to undermine the Christian faith and replace it with a new pagan cult with pretensions of objective science. Names such as Nicolaus Copernicus, Giordano Bruno, Galileo Galilei, Johannes Kepler, Isaac Newton, and, more recently, Albert Einstein are revered with bigotry by the people of today. The deification of these figures of modern science is accompanied by the claim that this gallery of celebrities from the pantheon of the respective cult invented something completely new in the history of ideas. But in fact, the heliocentric theory has its roots in the idolatry of pre-Christian peoples who worshipped thesun as the supreme deity.

The spiritual source of the concerns of these renowned scholars was far from the opaque materialism that accompanies the dominant discourse about their contribution to the development of science. The gods of these neon-pagan beliefs were part of various esoteric groups of a Gnostic nature that practiced witchcraft and astrology as sources for discovering the mysteries of this world.Thus, the leaders of modern science constitute a vast global conspiracy against the revealed God,who spoke through the prophets of the Old Testament and who became incarnate in the Son and Word of God, the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

The main goal of the evil spiritual forces behind the supposedly scientific discourse has been and remains the destruction of Christian civilization and its replacement with a demonocratic model of society cloaked in the guise of scientific progress and objective truth.

The tacit or explicit rejection of the sacred character of Holy Scripture and, implicitly, of the truth that it is the Holy Spirit who speaks through the mouths of the prophets and apostles, reveals the apostate nature of these false teachings. The revolt against the living God, "the Creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible,", as the Symbol of Faith teaches us, betrays the eminently Luciferian nature of the exponents of scientific heresy. It is no coincidence that one of the most praised symbols of Greek mythology in modern culture is Prometheus, who defied the gods and stole fire to give it to humans. It is precisely the Promethean spirit that is exalted by this current of thought, which has managed to take hold of the thinking of today's man.

The war against God under the guise of secular science betrays its demonic essence through its very obsession with imitating the divine order by reversing it. Thus, the religion of science has its own gallery of "prophets," "saints," and "martyrs" who sacrificed themselves on the altar of science, persecuted by the Inquisition. Among the most revered "martyrs" in the long martyrology of the new cult, a prominent place belongs to Giordano Bruno, burned at the stake by the infamous Inquisition, who sacrificed himself for the sake of the truth opposed by savage medieval clericalism.

Legends about their scientific achievements have spread throughout school textbooks, artistic works, and philosophical treatises of secular culture, transforming them into a gallery of heroes of the modern world, before whom every self-respecting person must bow down with reverence. These "sacred monsters" of humanity, fallen into the heresy of scientism, have become the object of widespread veneration.

Thus, the collective mindset shaped by the patterns established within occult groups, which were neo-pagan and often cabalistic in nature, had a paralyzing effect, generating a mass man incapable of thinking outside the paradigm instilled in him since childhood. Some concepts originating from the cults of ancient pre-Christian peoples, which have been discreetly perpetuated during the centuries of Christianity's triumph, combined with various theories concocted by the exponents of the "mystery of lawlessness" who have set themselves up as holders of absolute truths, have managed to hijack the collective mindset, diverting it onto a path completely different from that of biblical truth.

Therefore, to say today with all seriousness that the earth is flat means to implicitly attract public opprobrium. What do you mean it's flat? Haven't we seen the globe in the geography classroom, and hasn't the teacher explained to us that this celestial body also rotates around its own axis and around the sun? Don't we see on every TV news program that the earth is spherical and that it rotates beautifully in a truly miraculous celestial dance?

Science fiction literature and the SF film industry have contributed greatly to the popularization of this neo-pagan theory, which claims to be completely new and generates falsehoods about the solar system, galaxies, and the infinite universe. The intergalactic travels of astronauts and their adventures in contact with other extraterrestrial civilizations have woven a truly fascinating phantasmagorical narrative. All of these are perceived as miracles of techno-science. Thus, technophilia has become technolatry, and the natural human tendency to discover the mysteries of this world has turned into a kind of religious veneration of scientists perceived as holders of the world's most hidden secrets.

In fact, the literary and artistic movement of the early 20th century called futurism is part of the ame adoration of the new, a denial of tradition and exaltation of scientific and technical achievements. The obsession with creating an earthly paradise comes in as a substitute for the tendency toward salvation, with no room left in this artificial universe for theological reflection or mystical knowledge.

It is well known that people find it very difficult to give up their prejudices. They do not like to make paradigm shifts and exceed their intellectual limits. This inertia of thought is fully manifested in the case of the total acceptance of the heliocentric theory, the story of the purely accidental emergence of the "universe" following a Big Bang; that is, a Great Explosion that supposedly occurred at some point and gave rise to the cosmos as interpreted by scientists. The same is true of the notion of a purely accidental emergence of life on earth, and of the laws of universal attraction or universal gravity promulgated by Isaac Newton, of whom we were told in school that he was a great physicist and astronomer, without revealing his preoccupation with alchemy and his position as president of the Royal Society in London.

To believe these incredible stories is to assume a kind of magical thinking or, if you will, to share a state of enchantment that has devastating effects on human cognitive ability. And since he was convinced that there was a boundless space called the cosmos, with an infinite number of constellations, suns, and planets as good for life as Earth, the man who fell into the scientific trap rushed to conquer it, colonize it, and exploit it.

Blinded by his own pride, which has pushed him into an opaque and childish self-sufficiency, modern man no longer looks up to the sky with the reverence of one who knows that God Almighty is there, that his primordial homeland is there. Nostalgia for Paradise has been replaced by the arrogance of the conqueror of the sky, master of his own destiny. And some of the leading exponents of the techno-science cult, such as Elon Musk, even assure us that they will soon invite us on a journey with the terminus station on the planet Mars.

Scientific cosmology, which has become the dogma of the new religion, has the direct effect of denying the heavenly hierarchy and, implicitly, the earthly one. Until the scientific revolution, everyone knew that up in the heavens is the throne of the Heavenly Father, alongside whom are always and inseparably present the other two persons of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit and the Son of God, Jesus Christ; and at His right hand is the Queen of Heaven and Earth, the Mother of God Mary, the prophets, saints, martyrs, and righteous ones. But when he allowed himself to be deceived for the umpteenth time by the "prince of this world," believing the cunning promise "you will be like gods," man fell into a state of total amnesia.

The myth of the globe shakes the foundations of the millennial vision of how this world is ordered. Its widespread dissemination has created confusion and led to a sense of disorientation among generations over the last few centuries. Until the Christian foundations of the worldview collapsed, man knew that up in the sky was the Heaven he longed for, on earth was himself, banished to repentance and the possibility of the ascension to heaven, and below were the underground realms of hell. This three-dimensional vision characteristic of biblical cosmogony gave meaning to life as a whole.

But modernity, which led to self-deification, pushed man to renounce the joy of being the crown of God’s creation. Believing that he was left without a master by banishing his own Creator from his frame of reference and naively assuming the position of master of his own destiny, man became the unconscious servant of the evil one. This is precisely where the error of anthropocentrism stems from, along with Cartesian rationalism, which pushes man, blinded by Luciferian light, towards the development of a coordinated system for a world in which he believes himself to be "the measure of all things."

In fact, the whole modern culture, full of alienation and the destruction of the aspirations for elevation that faith in God used to give, is a direct result of the scientific revolution, the triumph of secularism, and materialism. It could not be otherwise. A sphere floating aimlessly through an infinite and dead universe can only cause dizziness and confusion to man, who comes from nowhere and is heading towards nothingness.

The theory of evolution or Darwinism is part of the same series of founding myths of modern science, alongside the story of the origin of the universe. And if in recent decades some of us have managed to escape the pseudoscientific nonsense of man's descent from apes, when it comes to the genesis of the universe and the shape of the earth the people prefer to remain in the benevolent captivity of a cosmology sprung from the darkness of the Age of Enlightenment.

In my distant childhood, throughout the vast Soviet Union, so-called planetariums were created, where images of the solar system, the planets, the sky, and the infinity of constellations were projected in complete darkness, all from the pseudoscientific perspective of the Big Bang theory, heliocentrism, the spherical Earth etc., and, implicitly, the evolution of the universe. In Chișinău, the planetarium was installed in the Orthodox Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Savior, located at the intersection of the current Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard and S. Lazo Street. Thus, mystical knowledge and evangelical teaching were replaced by atheistic indoctrination that shaped minds according to the scientistic model. Schoolchildren's visits to this "temple of science" were part of the compulsory curriculum.

I remember very well the fascination I felt, gazing at the starry sky and listening with utmost admiration to the voice of the narrator as images were projected onto the celestial vault. I even remember the names of two of those public lessons held in a church building that had been converted into a planetarium. Here they are: "Will the end of the world come?" and "Have we been visited by guests from outer space?" The lecturer explained to us in a magical voice that, given the enormous combustion power of the sun, life on Earth would continue for at least hundreds of millions of years. But even if the sun were to approach its end, in the meantime humans would move to other galaxies, be illuminated and warmed by other suns, and everything would be wonderful. And the second lesson convinced us, showing all kinds of wonderful relics from various parts of the world, how we have been visited countless times by humanoids arriving in UFOs who were far superior in technological performance than the retarded inhabitants of Earth.

Since then, nothing has changed. NASA, Roscosmos, and other space agencies dazzle us with tricks of the same kind, and the Americans even assure us that they have been to the moon. An episode from 1961 related to Yuri Gagarin's flight into "space" is very relevant in this regard. After the first man "circled the earth" and landed safely on the ground, the communist leadership of the USSR issued a mandatory directive to all priests in the few churches that were still functioning. They were required to say the following sentence during the Holy Liturgy sermon: "Gagarin flew into space, but he did not see God." In the view of the regime at the time, such a sentence would have represented the triumph of scientific atheism and, implicitly, the defeat of the "medieval obscurantism of the clergy."

As I said at the beginning of these notes, the approach taken by our good friend Bogdan Chirilă will have the effect of upsetting almost everyone. That is precisely why a clarification of principle is necessary from the outset. Potential readers who strongly believe in the fairness of the model of this world learned in school and do not wish to question their own opinions, which they believe to be axiomatic and therefore immutable, will find it difficult to accept the arguments presented here. In order to be minimally open to such readings, at least a few qualities are necessary.

The first is humility, which helps us understand the limited nature of our own knowledge. The second would be at least a creationist view of the world. That is, the rejection of aberrations about the appearance of the world by accident. In other words, accepting the idea that this world, life itself on Earth, is the fruit of a higher cause, of a Creator, can serve as a conceptual foundation that would open the way to understanding the truth presented in this book. And those who have risen above the creationist conception and share the revealed biblical truth will have the chance to gain an even deeper insight into the message of this work.

However, the most privileged readers of this volume, written and presented with the utmost dedication by a deeply religious man, are Orthodox Christians. This is because Bogdan Chirilă is a good Christian with a unique gift for studying the Bible and patristic literature.

The author undertakes exemplary rigorous research, quoting extensively from the Book of Genesis, the great prophets of the Old Testament, the psalms of David, the four Gospels, and the writings of the Holy Fathers. Only someone who has studied these sacred texts for years with a pencil in hand would be able to weave them into such a perfectly coherent exposition of Christian cosmogony, which confirms beyond any doubt that the earth is flat, situated on water, and covered by a celestial vault also surrounded by water.

With admirable modesty, Bogdan Chirilă reserves very little space for his own speculations and comments. His brief and extremely pertinent observations only help us to more easily understand the message inspired by the Holy Spirit about the true genesis of the world as God created it.

If we could rid ourselves of the intellectual plague of pseudo-scientific falsehoods that have affected our thinking through the aberrant theories that have filled our heads in school, even without assiduous reading we would realize that something is wrong with the notion of the "globe."

This book can help us heal ourselves from the intellectual plague of aberrant theories such as this, spinning like a top on the basis of its own power in a universe that emerged from the darkness of a cosmic soup. Thus, at some point, we could look with irony at our own naivety in accepting the story that we live on a planet that spins without causing us dizziness and without spilling the waters of the seas and oceans - a sphere that positions some of us with our feet on the ground and our foreheads toward the sky, and others, in the southern hemisphere, with their feet up in relation to us.

We mention here in passing a few simple pieces of evidence that irrevocably shatter the scholarly fabrications about the earth as a sphere in constant motion. Among the simplest arguments proving that the earth is flat and static are the following.

The first relates to ballistics. I recall the meaning of the term: "Ballistics is the field of classical mechanics that deals with the launch, flight behavior, and impact effects of projectiles, especially ammunition used in firearms (bullets, shells, rockets, etc.). The main applications of ballistics are in the military field: artillery firing and the design of various types of ammunition." (Wiki). When a gunner prepares to launch a projectile at a target, he calculates factors such as direction, distance, and wind speed, but never takes into account the fact that the earth has a curvature or that it rotates.He practices his craft from the perspective of a flat, motionless earth.

The second argument concerns maritime navigation. A ship travels from point A to point B without its pilots having in mind the spherical shape of the Earth, but knowing very well that the surface of water is perfectly flat. This can be seen in the horizon line on vast expanses of water in relation to the sky and the moving ship.

The third example concerns air navigation. A pilot flies his plane from one part of the world to another without taking into account the non-existent movement of the earth around its own axis or its round shape. He knows that he is navigating on a flat and static earth.

A somewhat strange aspect of modern science based on the materialistic and evolutionary view presented to us by the education system and the mainstream media is the lack of surprise on the part of the proponents of this discourse at the existence of a universe that arose by chance and yet is so harmonious, functioning like a perfect mechanism. This betrays once again the religious character of the cult of scientific cosmogony, located at the other extreme of the paradigm of scientific knowledge.

In this sense, Masonic lodges at least have the advantage of having developed over time a theocentric vision that claims that the world has a Creator, whom they have christened the Great Architect of the Universe. At some point, however, bored with his own creation God withdrew somewhere beyond the clouds, no longer concerned with this world. The Masonic demiurge is also called the Great Watchmaker, who, like an engineer, created the world, set it in motion like a clock, and disappeared without a trace, no longer caring for his own creation.

The theological concept of a Deus otiosus, shared by deists and a number of cults from various religious traditions around the world, belongs to the same series of religious beliefs. The term can be translated as: a god who rests, a neutral god who does not participate in worldly affairs. In such cases, worship of the sun, stars, moon, or other pagan deities leaves room for both the theory of heliocentrism and the spherical shape of the earth. But within the strictly atheistic paradigm, the structure of the universe as it is presented to us cannot be accepted as the expression of objectivescientific research, but rather as the fruit of neo-pagan fanaticism.

In the light of the truth that springs from biblical tradition and patristic writings, expounded with remarkable mastery by Bogdan Chirilă, it is necessary to reevaluate certain terms that have become widely used in today's world. For example, when we talk about the world as a whole, we use the term "globe." We say, for example, a global phenomenon, a global trend, etc. The same is true of theterm "planet," as well as the term derived from it, "planetary," referring to humanity, the world, all people on earth. This reinforces the illusion that the Earth is one of the "planets" in the reference system developed by heliocentrists.

When we resort to such notions, we unwittingly become promoters of heliocentrism and the entire scientific narrative emanating from the occult circles of sorcerer-scientists. Fortunately, the Romanian language has a perfectly valid and much more successful synonym in such situations, borrowed from French. We should prefer expressions such as a mondial phenomenon, a mondial trend. The same applies to terms such as globalism and globalization. Instead of these, words such as mondialism and mondialization would be preferable. Other languages can have many more synonyms in this regard.

After all, we who oppose Satanic globalism find ourselves among the militants of a metapolitical resistance against what is called the New World Order, not the global order. This is because the correct and accurate definition of phenomena is of fundamental gnoseological importance.

In this total spiritual and cognitive war waged by the "mystery of lawlessness" and its visible servants, works such as this one play an absolutely indispensable clarifying role, helping us to find our way out of the labyrinth of a modern world, full of fatal traps for those who have neither compass nor guide.
